Cost Share & Partnerships

Landowners in South Dakota may qualify for financial and technical assistance to improve wildlife habitat, protect soil and water resources, and support sustainable agriculture.

Many of these programs are offered through partnerships with organizations like the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks and the USDA Farm Service Agency. These programs help farmers and ranchers develop habitat where it makes the most sense while supporting South Dakota’s strong outdoor heritage, including world-class hunting and fishing opportunities.
