Rubrum Maple is also called the red maple, it is a pure, native tree found widely in North American forests and wetlands, which grows at a medium rate and prefers moist, acidic soils. It turns a brilliant, steady crimson red, grows much faster than a pure red maple, and tolerates urban pollution and alkaline soils better.
